Official Notice of a “Business Meeting”
of
The Arvada Associated Modelers

Please be advised that the acting president, JD LaVasseur, is providing notice that a Business Meeting of the Arvada Associated Modelers will be conducted as follows:

Date:               Tuesday, March 7, 2017
Time:               7:00 to 9:00 PM
Location:         Arvada Presbyterian Church
5592 Independence Street
Arvada, CO, 80002

The primary business purpose of this meeting will be to elect a new Club President.  At least one candidate has agreed to be nominated and run for election.  Others are also welcome and encouraged to be nominated and run.  Their bio’s and information will be provided separately.  Those candidates will also be given a chance to say a few words, on their own behalf, at the meeting prior to the vote.

Voting Rules

At all Business Meetings of the Club each Member shall have a vote as set forth in Article IV, Section 4 depending on their class of Membership and may take part and vote in person only.

Unless otherwise specifically provided by the Bylaws, a majority vote of those voting Members present and voting shall govern. Voting on issues involving the two-thirds vote requirement must be by secret ballot.

All other issues (including elections) may be by show of hands, ayes and nays, or closed ballot at the discretion of the Club Officer or Nominating Committee presiding at the Meeting.

Everyone is encouraged to come and support the election process.
