April 20, 2018 @ 12:00 pm - 2:30 pm
Staff members from CU’s “Integrated Remote and In Situ Sensing program” (IRISS) will be hosting a 2-hour seminar for high-school students at the AAM Airpark on Friday, April 20th. This event is being coordinated by AAM’s Education and Research Coordinator, Dan Underkofler.
The objective of this event is to introduce the high school students to using unmanned aircraft for atmospheric science research, and to educate them about access the NAS and the RC skills needed for actual flying.
The fields will be open to AAM Members during the seminar. However, we do ask that you give priority to any demonstrations or activities during the seminar.
