2022 Warbirds and Classics comes to AAM

Warbird Pilots:

We are only two weeks away from Warbirds And Classics Over The Rockies. Four days of RC scale and warbirds, Sept. 22 thru the 25^th.  The event will be hosted again at the Arvada Associated Modelers Field in Arvada Colorado.

Bring your favorite planes,.  Warbirds are loosely defined as any military warbird from WWI thru the present.  Classics are scale planes manufactured prior to my High School graduation of 1966.

Bring your foamies and we will have a mass foamy launch each day.

Friday night Bonnie and I will host a fried chicken dinner, catered by truly the best fried chicken on the planet, The Wishbone.  Saturday night is an  steak dinner and awards at the field.

Come join us at Long Lake Ranch Park for a float fly on Vern Lake.  It’s free to watch and has a small landing fee for pilots.  A small raft is also available if there are any “mishaps.”  2.4GHz frequency will only be allowed.
