Jets Over The Rockies 2026
JOTR is back in 2026!
Turbine, EDF and Turbo-Prop’s are welcome.
Flying Thursday through Saturday 9am to 4pm each day on our 50’ W x 750’ L concrete runway.
Dry camping available on-site along with over-night parking and solar charging station.
Storage tents available for rent.
Same great venue as Warbirds over the Rockies.

Public Flight Training
Enjoy a complimentary RC training flight on one of the club’s planes. No experience necessary. Club instructors will guide you through the flight.
Saturday 5/30 at the West Field from 10am to 1pm
Then stop by the Jets Over the Rockies event at the East Field

Welcome to the 2026 Colorado Pattern Challenge (CPC)!
The CPC is hosted by the Arvada Associated Modelers. This is our 17 th CPC in as many years
and will take place at the AAM East Field.
The CPC is 3-day, AA, Sanctioned event for RC Aerobatics for Sportsman, Intermediate, Advanced, Masters,
F3A Silver and F3A (P&F) (JSA combined).
There is a practice day on Friday, then 6 rounds planned (4 Saturday/2 Sunday) with contestant judging.
Trophy/plaques will be awarded for 3 places, each class. There are NO
aircraft restrictions for Sportsman flyers.
Entry fee is $50 (all contestants) and includes lunch and beverages all 3 days. The CPC also has many
sponsors and prizes. We typically have numerous sponsorship and merchandise to award contestants.

Special Notice to AAM Members
Please be advised the East Field will be closed to general flying during the 2026 Colorado Pattern
Challenge Friday (practice day) through Sunday, June 12-14, 2026. The East Field will be re-opened to
general flying AFTER the conclusion of contest activities. Expected East Field closure hours are as
follows:
Friday (6/12/2026) – 7:00 am to 6:00 pm (Practice day)
Saturday (6/13/2026) – 7:00 am to 5:00 pm (Contest)
Sunday (6/14/2026) – 7:00 am to 2:00 pm (Contest)

What is it?
- FREE, informal event
- A chance to dust off your old warbirds and do what they are made for! FLY EM!!
- Targeting people who have availability on weekdays!
Is food provided?
- Yes, the organizers intend to have lunch available from 1-3 pm ($5 donation would be appreciated)
What can I bring to fly?
- Warbirds of any size
- Scale or semi-scale: helicopters, jets and prop planes that have served in the military
Dates/Time:
Start time is anytime after noon (12 pm)
- June 10th
- July 8th
- Aug 5th
- Sept 9th
- Oct 7th
NOTE: no rain dates!!
Prizes (this is new):
Each flight gets you a ticket for the raffle (to be held at the end of the year)!
- Grand Prize is an E-flite Carbon Z T-28 Trojan
- Annual Club Membership (given as $70 cash)

Event will be at the West Field.
Flying by club members should be possible with close coordination with launching rockets
