Program Highlights
Program #1 – “FrSky Radio Systems – Features, Tips and Tricks”, by Stephan Smith
Stephan, and many others, have migrated from single band radio systems such as Spektrum, Futaba, JR,
etc. to dual band systems including the FrSky 900MHz/2.4GHz Dual-Band radio. However, there is way
more to FrSky than just the increased reliability of dual frequency bands. There is also the powerful and
incredibly comprehensive programming capability of Ethos operating system, sensors, telemetry and
other expanded features. Stephan will dive into the FrSky and give us a peek into its incredible
capabilities.
Program #2 – “Avro Vulcan Bomber”, by Jamie Park
In 2021, Jamie Park completed “scratch-built” construction of Avro Vulcan (jet) Bomber. While most
modern jets are basically ARF models and constructed out of composite materials, this project is
basically a “plywood, basswood and balsa” project, constructed from nothing but a set of plans, by
Tony Hijhuis Designs. The plane, now nearly 4 years old, is a little worn around the edges, but still flying
great. Jamie is going to share details and his experience building and flying this beautiful model.
