UAS and GIS – University of Denver and Aerial Data Systems

This is a demonstration of how our RC technology may be used to solve real world problems like making maps! 10-15 master’s level students will join us to participate in UAV missions to collect GIS data that will be used with GIS software to create DEMs, DSMs and run calculations to figure 3D volumetric solutions. We will be flying a hexacopter and a fixed-wing aircraft to demonstrate the capabilities of autonomous flight and GIS data collection.
